Dan Lungren graduated with honors from the University of Notre Dame, began his law studies at the University of Southern California and received his J.D. from Georgetown University.  He has practiced law as an associate or partner with firms in California and in Washington, D.C. Elected to nine terms in the U.S. House of Representatives from California, he also served as the elected Attorney General of his home state for two terms.
