Dana Mayhew is a human resources consultant, employment investigator, trainer, and executive coach.  Dana is the owner of TDC Consults, a human resources consulting firm located in Altadena, CA.  She assists corporations from Ventura to San Diego meet their strategic goals by matching their strategic human resources initiatives to their corporate goals; setting up efficient Human Resources departments; developing employment compliance measures that curtail costly employee disputes; managing the employee relations endeavors; and conducting employee investigations.

She has over 15 years consulting, management training and executive coaching experience for corporations, higher education, non-governmental organizations and the public sector.  A communications expert, she is a certified MBTI, DISC interpreter and is a Strengths Finder and Emotional Intelligence facilitator.  Dana trains employees and corporate executives in a number of programs including Sexual Harassment and Respectful Workplace, Bullying and Abusive Conduct, Employee Engagement, Team Building, Sensitivity and Civility, Communications, and Leadership Training.  In addition to her corporate workshops, she frequently speaks to small business associations, universities, non-profits and other business organizations.

Dana is member of Pasadena I ProVisor’s—a national association of trusted advisors to mid-sized corporations. A PIHRA and SHRM member, she is vice-chair of PIHRA Pasadena, co-founder of the “Members in Transition Committee,” and founder of the HR Roundtable and Book Club.  She is currently on the board of the Lasciewizc Foundation and Crossroads for Learning.  A graduate of Scripps College, she is the chair of the Lois Langland Alumna in Residence (LLAIR) Committee and a member of the Scripps Alumnae Council.  For the last 15 years she has designed and facilitated a variety of workshops for the Scripps College summer alumnae program. She is a former board member of Project D.A.Y., a juvenile diversion program.

Dana earned a master’s degree in Public Administration with a specialization in organizational development from the University of Southern California’s Graduate School of Policy Planning and Development.  She taught human resources and employee relations as a co-lecturer for the USC’s former School of Public Administration.
