Distinguished Graduate from Air Force Academy; Captain in Air Force.  Studied in England as a Fulbright Scholar and Rotary World Peace Fellow.  Studies focused on domestic and international conflict resolution.  Law degree, The University of Texas; legislative assistant to Texas State Senator Whitmire.  In 2007 at the International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia, worked on the criminal trial of politicians and military members who were responsible for the murders of more than eight thousand Muslim men and boys in Bosnia. Attorney in North Texas focused on helping companies and individuals resolve conflicts.Volunteers in several areas:  veterans’ support programs; economic development and employment; education; and the promotion of conflict resolution. Chair of Texas Lawyers for Texas Veterans. Governor of the B.H. Carroll Theological Institute furthering goals of returning theological education to local churches and in new partnerships in Russia, Vietnam, Cuba, and Eritrea. Organized the first Rotary Peace Symposium in North Texas.
