Kevin Wassegijig is the Director of Sustainable Economic Development for the Mississaugas of the New Credit First Nation. He has worked for First Nation communities for the majority of his career in the private sector and government. He is a Diamond Jubilee recipient for community service.

Kevin directs business development on behalf of New Credit as a tool for empowerment and connects this approach with his passionate advocacy for health and culturally relevant education. He sits on the board of governors for Georgian College, where he supports the development of programs and services for Aboriginal students with cultural values and perspectives embedded into the curriculum.
