Easan Katir, California interfaith Coördinator for the Hindu American Foundation, was formally adopted into the practice of the Hindu religion over forty years ago, and since then has been instrumental in speaking, teaching and founding temples. 

His most recent speaking engagement was delivering closing remarks at the California State Capitol south lawn in observance of the first UN International Day of Yoga.
