Dr. Gregor Hodgson is a marine biologist who has advised governments in all of the South China Sea countries and has facilitated conflict resolution involving the environment. A former professor at the UCLA Institute of the Environment where he taught coastal management, he has helped to establish marine parks throughout the world and discovered and named several species of reef-building corals in the South China Sea. He speaks Chinese, Tagalog and Cebuano.
