Judge Timothy Staffel received his J.D. degree from the University of the Pacific/McGeorge School of Law in Sacramento. The Los Prietos Boys Camp Scholarship Program was initiated in 2000 and has been a joint project of the Goleta Noontime and Santa Maria Breakfast Rotary Club for more than 15 years. In 2013, the clubs initiated a Youthful Female Offender component of the scholarship program in which scholarship stipends are awarded to youthful female offenders.
