Kevin Cahill

Kevin A. Cahill has been a Rotarian for over 23 years. He is the founding President of the Del Mar-Solana Beach Rotary Club.

Kevin is also the Chair of District 5340’s Model United Nations Program for high school students in Southern California, Mexico and Canada. He has a passion for working with the youth, and has been the Youth Service Chair at his Rotary Club and the Chair of the Interact program at Canyon Crest Academy in San Diego for the last 10 years.

Kevin is Business Counsel at The Scripps Research Institute, the largest non-profit scientific research organization in the United States. As a technology and intellectual property attorney for over 30 years, he chaired the IP and Technology Groups at several prominent San Diego law firms, including Luce Forward, San Diego’s oldest law firm, before joining Scripps Research. Kevin specializes in technology development, licensing, research collaborations, mergers and acquisitions of technology companies and strategic management of worldwide intellectual property portfolios.
