Rukmini Iyer is an organization development consultant and trainer based in Mumbai, India. In a career spanning over 15 years, she has worked largely in the Asian markets. She is a specialist in and an active practitioner of Non Violent Communication (NVC), Appreciative Inquiry and Conflict Resolution.

She believes that peace can be built one individual at a time and that the corporate world is a space that needs a lot of attention in this regard. Conscious capitalism is the need of the hour since corporations not only impact the lives of their employees, but also have a far-reaching impact on socio-economic structures. Her work revolves around bringing in NVC Consciousness through conflict-sensitive policies and processes at work as well as training and coaching.

Rukmini has been deeply engaged with Rotary since 1999. She was an active Rotaractor from 1999-2007 and held various leadership positions during this period. In 2009, she was a part of a Group Study Exchange Team to Sri Lanka from RI District 3140. In 2013, she was awarded the Rotary Peace Fellowship to attend the 3-month Professional Development Certificate in Peace and Conflict Resolution at Chulalongkorn University, Bangkok.

Rukmini has Masters degrees in Management and Organizational Psychology. Apart from her professional work, she is involved with the Times Foundation in Mumbai and gives regular lectures on mental health awareness as a volunteer. She also serves as a pro bono mentor for Kalatyst India, an organization involved in helping underprivileged girl students secure graduate education. Her official website is www.exult-solutions.com.
